Samuel Reshevsky was a chess prodigy out of Poland. Beginning from the mid-1930s into the mid-1960s, he stayed a competitor for WCC (World Chess Championship). This chess prodigy was exceptionally gifted. It could be shown true through his accomplishments. Samuel secured third position at the championship of World Chess Championship in 1948, whereas he came next from the Candidates Tournament in 1953. His achievements do not end here. Samuel was born on 26th November 1911 in Ozorków and belonged to a Jewish household. When he was only four years old, he began learning how to play chess. The mind boggling abilities of playing chess got him great fame. He was able to conquer many players readily when he was only 8.

Following some years of arrival, his parents move to the States. They wanted to earn a living by demonstrating Samuel's talent. In addition, he was likely the youngest player in the phase of the New York Masters Championship at 1922.


It's a bit odd to understand that he did not go to college while he was young. However, to finish the secondary schooling, he maintained himself from boxing and various competitions. He was able to compete in tiny events during this course of time. His graduation level is in accounting he pursued in the University of Chicago in 1934. Accordingly, by profession, he's an accountant. To support his loved ones, Samuel continued to function as an accountant. Although, his profession as a chess player began after a time.


His accomplishments

The global career in chess began when he travelled excursion to England. He's become the winner of various contests and championships where he conquered several former world champions. It was in 1950 when he obtained the title of International Grandmaster from FIDE. He's been into the Chess Olympiad eight occasions. Vasily Smyslov obtained conquered by Samuel while playing at a championship game in 1991.
